Update on the race information

Please show up at Meadowood Pool at 6:30am to receive racing number and pre-race instructions,(race course and transition location).

The swim will take place in Meadowood Pool. We will try and start as close to 7:00 as possible. We will start the swim in heats. We are not sure how many swimmers will swim at one time. We hope that 10 will swim at once. Please be patient. This will be the most difficult part of the triathlon. We will most likely have 3-4 heats to try and stagger the race a little. After the swim we will exit from pool area to the Gazebo/ transition area.

The bike course will be as follows: Meadowood to Culver (R), Culver to Portola (R), Portola to Sandcanyon (R), Sandcanyon to Irvine Blvd (R), Irvine Blvd to Jamboree (R), Jamboree to Portola (R), Portola to Yale (R) back to Meadowood Pool transition area.

The run will be as follows: From Transition area: (Gazebo next to Meadowood Pool) Down Yale to Trail (R), down rightside of dirt trail to Culver (Left U-Turn), back up dirt trail to Portola (L U-turn), back to Yale (Finish Line).

Relays will participate with a tag type transition. Swimmer will swim, then biker will bike, runner will run. Relays will all have the same number. Please make sure at registration that all members of your relay team have the same number.
Thanks,
Rey

Hey, who let all those old guys in?? My only hope at a podium finish was to limit the number of 45+ participants to no more than three. I just hope David Kimball is younger than 45. I don't want him to take both the Masters and Clydesdale titles. Finally, who let that ringer, Casey Robles, in? He should be required to swim in a dress and run in cowboy boots.
